I'm Sandro Volpicella, fullstack developer who loves to build digital products.

Hey 👋🏽 I'm Sandro and I love building things. I am working in the computer science field for over 10 years now. Starting from a basic tech-support engineer, up to Windows/Linux Server management, to some years of data science (pre GPT times 👀) and ended up in fullstack development.

Why? Because I love having the ability to create things from scratch. I love to have the ability to create digital products completely by myself.

Currently, I am a Platform Engineering Lead at Hashnode. Hashnode is a blogging platform for software engineers.

I love building serverless and cloud-agnostic solutions. The speed and scale you can build things without managing a single server's OS is just amazing.

Additionally, I teach about the fundamentals of AWS at AWS Fundamentals together with my friend Tobias Schmidt. We wrote a book about exactly that topic. Currently, we are writing a second book about CloudWatch and Observability in the Cloud.
